Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Erman Turkeli started playing the piano at the age of 4. He got his early musical training and experiences with the help of his father who is also a musician. He studied in Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory in secondary and high school. (http://www.tmdk.itu.edu.tr) After that, He continued his Bachelor's Degree in Istanbul University State Conservatory Classical Composition Department. (https://konservatuvar.istanbul.edu.tr) This allowed him to study both Classical Music, Composition, Turkish Music theorically and practically.
In addition, he tought harmony and solfeggio lessons at the Istanbul University, State Conservatory between in 2016 and 2019.
He plays piano/keyboard, accordeon and sings vocals professionaly. He has albums and his E.P were published in 2012, 2013 and 2017, 2018, 2023 succesively. Besides, he worked as composer, as an arranger and instrumentalist in many professional albums.
In addition, he tought harmony and solfeggio lessons at the Istanbul University, State Conservatory between in 2016 and 2019.
So far, some of the valuable professional musicians he has been working with are; Nükhet Duru, Nilüfer, Ajda Pekkan, Ayhan Sicimoglu, Mehmet Gureli, Ziynet Sali.
He performed a series of concerts with his group Turkiko Band also they and played in Istanbul Young Jazz Festival in 2005(https://caz.iksv.org/en/the-12th-istanbul-jazz-festival-2005/young-jazz). Currently Erman continues his education and music studies as a master student at the Utrecht Conservatory Jazz Department in the Netherlands.
